Kate loves to work and is an extremely smart girl!!   Having taken few years off from competition being a busy a mom dog she picked up where she left off and is back in the Obedience and Rally rings. At the LRC of Potomac 2011 she earned her Rally Advanced Title along with 2 legs toward her CD.  Then at the Pioneer Valley LRC Specialty she followed up with earning 2 legs toward her Rally Excellent Title.  In July she then earned the 3rd legs for both her CD and Rally Excellent Titles at the Woodstock Dog Club show in VT.!  She really made me smile and I'm proud of her accomplishments!  A bit of trivia regarding Kate - her  daughter "Lenore" can be read about from time to time by author Jon Katz on his Bedlam Farm Journal and in his books "Izzie & Lenore: Two Dogs, an Unexpected Journey, and Me" and in his most recent publication "Meet the Dogs of Bedlam Farm.
